I bought my first Rado watch about 8 years ago (This model, although an older style one). I always liked nice watches, but I would always damage the watch (scratches, etc..) in a very short time. The Rado has a scratch resistant case and a Sapphire crystal. You can bump this baby against a cement wall and it just will not scratch. The video shows my 8 year old Rado with the same crystal and same watch band it had when brand new. I can't tell you how many times I have hit it against a wall or some object. (Usually cement.) This is a Floating Globe that plugs into the wall for power. It uses the principles of magnetics to perform this floatation trick. Basically, the electronics in the base put out magnetic pulses to balance the globe in mid-air. (It doesn't spin on it's own, it just floats.) To do this the globe has a magnet inside of it.
